Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Hard Core Remodeling but Were Afraid to Ask Part 35!

While Savannah had her sights raised...
...Thom was looking a little lower.
Here at
Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Hard Core Remodeling but Were Afraid to Ask!
our sites are never set high!
The Minions were on a roll with cabinet construction.
The boxes for upper and lower are similar in construction.
The big difference is the feet.
There are a variety of feet to choose from, in 4" and 6" heights, in silver
or in plastic. We chose the plastic because these are adjustable and take toe kick plates.
 Attaching them is infomercial-easy.
 The neat feature id this.
See how the foot extends under the adjoining cabinet?
That adds more stability and helps make the cabinets perfectly level.
The boxes screw directly into the wall.
Then just level the feet with a twist.
 Like it shows here.
Yeah, they make this a cinch.
Now, while the construction and materials are impressively solid...
...the backs are easy to cut.
For our sink cabinet, Mark measured the plumbing, marked the cabinet,
then drilled into the 4 coners with a paddle bit.
Cutting the panel out from that point was simple.

 Got all that?
 Do the same for outlets.
Clamp the bank of cabinets together and insert the joining screws.
 Are they...
 ...level?
Let's get some drawers in then, shall we?
Don't be scared, we'll do it with you.
It's easy!
